Supplies

Bring whatever you are using for oil colors;  you will also try mine. It is not necessary to buy any materials if you will work in oil.– watercolor and pastel artists must bring supplies, but I highly suggest that you try my oils.  If you are going to use oils, you don’t need to bring anything but a palette for mixing colors. You will be using my oil colors.  If you like my colors,  you can purchase them at an art supply store later, but in the workshop you may use mine.

You will need to bring 6-8small canvases/ boards (1.e. 6×8, 8×10, 9×12)   We will be doing many quick exercises.  During the afternoon of our second day, we will wrap up with a 11×14 or 9×12 or 12×16 timed exercise. If you follow directions, you will be able to finish a large painting  less than two hours. Bring a larger palette with which to mix colors.

I use a variety of colors but the following are essential:  Alizarin Crimson, Ultramarine Blue, Cobalt Blue, Lemon Yellow, Cadmium Orange, Cadmium Red, and Titanium White.  Bring paper towels
