Brushes:

Flat bristle brushes. Good quality brushes.  I use many brands but I really like Robert Simmons, Rosemary brushes and Trekell brushes
Bristol brush Sizes-  2 of each –  #2-10
Bristol Fan brush: #4
Sable Brushes:  A couple of small rounds.  #4, #10
Soft Badger haired brush: #7 flat for softening edges

Palette Knives: One small 1” painting knife and one 3” painting knife- One larger mixing palette knife.  I use Holbein brand mostly, but any well made palette knives will do.

Palette:I would recommend a glass palette (with a neutral grey underneath)  or a masonite palette. You could also use a paper palette with removable sheets.  I would use the grey ones though.  Not the white palettes.

Canvas boards: 8×10 or 11×14

Medium: Galkyd (Gamblin)

Other items: Odorless Mineral Spirits/ Gamsol, VIVA paper towels
